An auto-electron emitter of glow discharge relates to vacuum equipment and may be used at developing of gas-discharge vacuum devices, gas lasers, in particular, flow HCN-laser. A dielectric concentrator of glow discharge positive ions and a target are introduced in the device. The target is made of metal. A thin dielectric film is made of this metal. Near thin dielectric film it is located the target and the concentrator being fixed at some distance above the film. The auto-electron dielectric emitter provides self-starting and self supporting mode of anomalous secondary emission and self-renewal of the emitter. This allows emitter to be widely used.
