The invention relates to small-arms, in particular to arbalests. A mechanism for arbalest loading of Bodrov- Kostiuchenko system comprises a magazine with arrows arranged without front wall and lever that is hinged to its side surface in such way that it interacts by short arm with lower arrow in magazine with fixation of its position, and top the upper edge of magazine flat spring is attached, with direction of deformation in vertical plane. The mechanism for loading can be used in arbalests with movable trigger mechanism.
