A device for control of drive of a trolley with load on the flexible suspension comprises a sensor of the length of suspension, a storage unit, a comparator. The device is additionally equipped with an arithmetical unit, to inputs of which are connected a unit of formation of the trolley weight, a sensor of the flexible suspension length, a trolleyvelocity transducer and a sensor of the load weight connected through the analog-to-digital converter. The output of the arithmetic-logic unit is connected to the storage unit, which by output is connected to the first input of the comparator, to the second input of which through a differential unit the velocity transducer of trolley is connected. The output of the comparator is connected to the input of the frequency converter, which controls the operation of the trolley engine; in this case the operation of entire circuit is controlled by a control unit connected to the frequency converter and storage unit.
