摘要 A flange structure of a differential case is provided to maintain stiffness and to reduce weight by employing a geometric shape configured through a connection of eight bolt holes. A differential case(1) is provided with a space section(3) and a through-hole(5). A pinion is installed on the center of the space section. A pinion shaft passing through the space section is installed on the through-hole. A circular-shaped flange(7) is formed on a rear of the differential case so as to couple the differential case to a vehicle frame. Eight bolt holes(9) are provided on the flange of the differential case. An outer circumference of the flange is defined by a geometric shape configured through a connection of the eight bolt holes, thereby forming a curved surface(11). Therefore, stiffness of the differential case is maintained and weight thereof is dramatically reduced.
