A facial shape correcting apparatus and a method for the same are provided to allow correcting of facial shape without surgical treatment by relocating the lower jaw and rearranging the irregular teeth using tension applied to the lower jaw. A facial shape correcting apparatus comprises: a fixation part(100) to fix the apparatus on the head or the neck of a user; a moving part(200) combined with the fixation part, which transmits tension to supporting part; a supporting part(300) to enable the tension of exercise A to be applied to the lower jaw and to induce relocation of it; a power part(400) to generate the power necessary for exercise A; a control part; and an electronic controller part operated under the correction program, to which an electronic control is possible.
