A display substrate and a display device including the same are provided to obviate defects caused by static electricity by preventing static electricity flowing into one gate line to other gate lines through first and second distributing circuits and first to third distributing lines. A base substrate includes a display region including a plurality of gate lines(GL1 to GL2n) and displaying an image, and a peripheral region(PA1 to PA4) surrounding the display region. First distributing circuits(142) are formed at one set of ends of a first group of gate liens among those gate lines. Second distributing circuits(144) are formed at one sent of ends of a second group gate lines among the gate lines. A first distributing line(BL1) is electrically connected to the first group of gate lines through the first distributing circuits. A second distributing line(BL2) is electrically connected to the second group of gate lines through the second distributing circuits. A third distributing line(BL3) electrically connects the first distributing line with the second distributing line.
