A multi data managing device for vehicles is provided to obtain informative data as evidence in case of an accident by receiving video data, vehicle motion data, and map and position data from video cameras, an ECU input unit, and a navigation units and a control unit synchronizing the data in real time, and a backup data specifying button allows a specific portion of the data to be backed up to a USB stick. A multi data managing device has video cameras(8a,8b), a playback button(28), a backup button(30), an ECU signal input unit(36), a data storing unit(44), a LCD(22), a USB port(26), and a control unit(46). The video cameras are installed inside the vehicle for recording video data of front, sides, and back of the vehicle. The playback button plays back the video recorded by the video cameras. The backup button generates a command for backing up the video data. The ECU signal input unit receives vehicle motion data from an ECU. The data storing unit synchronizes the vehicle motion data from the ECU signal input unit with the video data in real time and stores the data. The LCD displays the stored data. The USB port allows the stored data to be transferred to a USB memory stick(40). The control unit controls the video cameras, and the ECU input unit to store the video data and the vehicle drive data respectively and synchronizes the video data to the vehicle drive data, and also controls the LCD to output the stored data on screen as well as backing up the video data to the USB stick. A backup data specifying button(32) allows a user to specify a portion of the video data to be backed. The ECU input unit includes a speed sensor(36a), a direction signaling switch(36b), a brake operation sensing unit(36c), and an impact sensing unit(36d). The multi data managing device is linked with a navigation unit and has a navigation signal input unit for receiving and storing map and position data from the navigation unit.
