摘要 An array substrate for an LCD and a fabrication method thereof are provided to prevent a defect caused by a weak adhesive force by forming source and drain electrodes contacting a semiconductor layer made of an organic semiconductor material by using ITO(indium-tin-oxide). A first source electrode(205a) and a first drain electrode(208a) are formed of a first metal material on a substrate(201) and are spaced apart from each other. A second source electrode(205b) and a second drain electrode(208b) are formed of ITO, and completely cover top and side surfaces of the first source electrode and the first drain electrode, respectively. A pixel electrode(213) contacts the second drain electrode. An organic semiconductor layer(217) contacts the second source electrode and the second drain electrode, and is formed in an region between the two electrodes. A gate dielectric layer(220) is formed on the organic semiconductor layer. A gate electrode(225) is formed on the gate dielectric layer.
