A data presenting device preventing the storage area of a memory from being wastefully used. The device has a function of preparing, in a memory, presentation object data which is first to N-th items of specific sort data obtained when all the presentation object data in a database is sorted under a specific sort condition in a way that the items of the presentation object data which are certainly the prepared items are not stored in the memory and displaying the first to N-th items on a display and a function of, when an instruction to display the next presentation object data is given, preparing, in the memory,((K+1).N+1)-th to (K+2).N-th items of presentation object data in specified sort data by using the value of a sort key in the (K+1).N-th item of the presentation object data displayed on the display in a way that the presentation object data to be processed in the database is limited and the items of the presentation object data which are certainly unnecessary are not stored in the memory and displaying the prepared items on the display.
