A gap adjustment device is provided to avoid collision between a stationary roll and a moving roll and enable gap adjustment between the rolls at a desired size, so as to manufacture products having different thickness elastically. A gap adjustment device for adjustment of a gap between a rotatable stationary roll(100) and a moving roll(300) rotatably installed on a housing block(200) relatively movable with respect to the stationary roll, the gap adjustment device comprises a hydraulic cylinder(500), and a gap adjustment rod(540). The hydraulic cylinder comprises a piston rod(530) integrated to a piston(520) reciprocating within a cylinder body(510) and projected outside the cylinder body. The gap adjustment rod is screwed at a distal end of the piston rod which enables relative adjustment of a location for the housing block with respect to a location of the piston. |
