<p>A multimedia signal receiving apparatus connectable with a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) is provided to allow a user to watch multimedia images such as DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) images using the existing PDA without purchasing a new PDA. A multimedia signal receiving apparatus(200) includes a controller(210), a multimedia signal receiver(220), a connecting terminal(230), a memory(240) and an auxiliary power supply(250). The controller controls the operations of the multimedia signal receiver, the connecting terminal, the memory and the auxiliary power supply. The multimedia signal receiver receives and processes multimedia signals and includes an antenna(222), a tuner(224) and a signal processing unit(226). The antenna receives the multimedia signals. The tuner tunes a specific channel. The signal processing unit decodes a signal inputted from the tuner and generates a signal to be transmitted to a PDA. The connecting terminal transmits a signal processed by the multimedia signal receiver to the PDA. The memory stores data processed by the multimedia signal receiver and data transmitted to the PDA.</p> |
