A method and a device for reproducing data, a recording method and device, and a recording medium are provided to change titles of a video stream freely by recording a flag about storage of reproducing condition in a recording medium. A recording medium includes a stream area and a management area. The stream area includes a video stream. The management area includes reproducing management data which manages a video stream reproducing operation. The reproducing management data includes information indicating whether to store information on the reproducing condition of a title when the title is changed to another one.
