A camera module having a voice coil motor is provided to be used as a socket-type camera module without portions protruded to outside. A voice coil motor(100) controls a focal distance of a lens(110) to allow an optical image of a subject to be made incident thereon. A holder(200) has a hollow shape, is fixed on a lower surface of the voice coil motor(100), and includes a space(210) at a portion of edges thereof. A plurality of terminals is electrically connected with the voice coil motor(100) at the space(210) to drive the voice coil motor(100). A PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(400) includes an image sensor for forming an optical image made incident on the lens(110) and is fixed at a lower end of the holder(200).
