EARLY DETECTION AND ADVANCED WARNING WASTE IS BACKING UP APPARATUS AND METHOD

A device for the early detection and advanced warning that waste is backing up in a waste pipe line comprising: a tubular body member having an open lower portion, a central hollow core extending axially there through, and a closed upper portion. The open lower portion is dimensionally sized and configured to be removably yet sealably fitted and fixed into the waste pipe line. The closed upper portion in turn, is provided with switching means, means for issuing a signal communicatingly connected to said switching means, means for receiving the signal issued, located remotely from the inventive device, and warning or alarm issuing means, communicatingly connected to said means for receiving the signal issued, such that when a signal is issued and received, the alarm issuing means, goes off and issues a warning such as a siren, a flashing light or otherwise, to provide an opportunity to address the waste backing up, before the waste overflows and spills all over.
