摘要 The invention relates to a system for controlling the forces applied to the front (6) and rear (7) axle assemblies of a hybrid motor vehicle (1) with four-wheel drive (2, 3, 4, 5), the front axle assembly (6) being driven by a combustion engine (8) and the rear axle assembly (7) by an electric machine (9) powered with electrical energy by an element that stores electrical energy when it operates as a motor and is able to provide electrical energy to the storage element when it operates as a generator. The system comprises control means (13) able to control the forces applied to the rear axle assembly of the vehicle, the said control means (13) being designed to limit the forces applied to the rear axle assembly (7) to a predetermined limit value (f<SUB>sat</SUB>) when the result of a test is positive. The said test checks whether the longitudinal force (F<SUB>xav</SUB>) applied to the front axle assembly (6) lies between two predetermined values (threshold <SUB>1</SUB>, threshold <SUB>2</SUB>) and whether the longitudinal force (F<SUB>xar</SUB>) applied to the rear axle assembly (7) is negative or zero.
