DOCTOR BLADE FOR USE IN RESIN FINISHING ON CLOTH AND METHOD OF RESIN FINISHING THEREWITH

A novel doctor blade that even on a cloth as thin as 120 g/m² or less weight, attains secure resin finishing of only one major surface thereof. The doctor blade has its inferior portion bent and sloped and is used in the resin finishing including feeding a resin composition onto the sloping face of the blade and moving the cloth from the distal end side of the blade toward the side of blade main body to thereby coat the surface of the cloth with the resin composition. The doctor blade is characterized in that the inferior portion (3) of the blade (1) has a width of 2 to 12 cm and is bent so as to slope at an angle of 110° to 160° against the blade main body (superior portion (4)). The distal end portion (5) of the inferior portion (3) of the blade (1) may be one having a width of 3 to 10 cm and bent at an angle of 50° to 150° backward against the inferior portion (3) of the blade (1).
