Drug solutions (or other combinations of vehicle with entrained drug) are prepared by removing drug from one or more masses of a solid form of the dr ug. The solid form of the drug may be sparingly soluble or insoluble in wate r. Examples of devices for holding solid drug and facilitating delivery of s uch drug to targeted regions are also described.
