TEXTURE SPRAYER

A texture spray pump unit having a tank with an outlet for providing texture material to a pump, for delivery to a texture spray gun. The spray pump unit also has an air source for providing power to the pump and air to deliver the texture material from the gun. A frame supports the tank, air source and pump. The pump is removable from the frame, and has a self closing valve to block leakage from the tank when removed from the frame. The valve may have a pair of helper springs urging the valve closed. Mating portions on the frame and tank guide engagement of a tank outlet with a pump inlet tube.
