<p>A material testing machine having a pair of columnar members (12a, 12b) placed on both sides of a sample (SP), a cross head (15) bridged across a the pair of columnar members (12a, 12b) and moving in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the columnar members (12a, 12b) to apply a load on the sample (SP), and attachment tool installation struts (35) placed around the pair of columnar members (12a, 12b) so as to extend in the direction of the longitudinal axis. Sliding installation sections (35b-35d) are provided in the struts (35) in a manner extending in the longitudinal axis direction. To change the installation position of an attachment tool, the tool is slid in the sliding installation sections (35b-35d).</p> |
