A food container assembly for a refrigerator is provided to contact electrodes liquid components without direct contact of any solid components by a mask, thereby obtaining precise measurement result of food condition and preventing physical damage of the electrodes. A food container assembly for a refrigerator includes a food container(100) having side walls and a bottom plate for defining a receiving space, and a sensor part having a pair of electrodes mounted on the side walls and exposed to the receiving space in the food container to measure at least one or more data such as salinity, acidity or temperature of food received in the food container. A mask(150a) divides the receiving space of the food container into two space parts and has through-holes for fluid flow between the two spaces, wherein the electrodes are exposed to any one of the space parts.
