A TRIGGERING METHOD FOR SCHEDULING INFORMATION REPORT IN THE ENHANCED DEDICATED CHANNEL AND A SUBSCRIBER DEVICE

A triggering method for scheduling information report in the enhanced dedicated channel and a subscriber device. The method includes the following steps: when the subscriber side transmits the scheduling information because of the remain bit number of the current MAC-e protocol data unit arriving at or exceeding the predetermined threshold, the timer of triggering the scheduling information report periodically is restarted. The method can reduce the unnecessary period SI report, and thereby improving the availability of the wireless resource.
