Tablets intended to be swallowed and disintegrated within three minutes in gastric medium, comprises: an effervescent agent i.e. non-reactive in the mouth and reactive in gastric medium; disintegrating agents; a surfactant; and active ingredients. An independent claim is included for the preparation of the tablet comprising mixing the constituents in a cubic blender for 15 minutes, adding the lubricants and mixing again for 5 minutes and shaping the tablet using a rotary tablet machine.
