The invention relates to a grip device (1) comprising an element (5) that can be moved in relation to a fixed element (4) between an open position and a closed position in which the two elements are adapted in such a way as to grip a wall, means (7) for moving the mobile element (5) and adjusting the distance between the two elements (4, 5) in a closed position to the thickness of the gripped wall, and blocking means (19) which are adapted in such a way as to immobilise the mobile element (5) in the adjusted closed position.
