Provided is an operation support device such as a device for automatically displaying an operation check for an operation whose input is incorrect with a high probability by estimating an operation which may cause an error in accordance with user's knowledge when a user performs an input operation. A device (100) used in an electronic device (1) operating in accordance with a user operation includes: an input unit (101) for receiving a user operation; a storage unit (104) containing a database including a plurality of incorrect operation patterns; a judging unit (107) which judges whether an operation check is required according to the incorrect operation pattern corresponding to the user decided by referencing the database in accordance with the correction information indicating whether an operation check is required; and an output unit (108) for outputting a signal for presenting an operation check message when a check is performed. Each of the incorrect operation patterns is defined according to operations experienced by a plurality of users having an experience of operations other than the electronic device (1) as the operation object device.
