A device for moving cars (100) in multistorey car parks is described, said device comprising a front carriage (1) able to be positioned opposite the front wheels (101) of the car so as to raise them and a rear carriage (2) able to be positioned opposite the rear wheels (102) of the car so as to raise them. At least one of the carriages comprises a centring device (4) comprising a pair of buffer heads (40) which are mounted on rods (41) which slide linearly from a position retracted towards the carriage into a position extracted laterally from the carriage so as to press against the inwardly directed part of the tyre of the respective wheel (101, 102) of the car arranged on rollerways (204, 205) so as to cause lateral displacement of the car (100) and centre it with respect to the carriage (1, 2). |
