An AC voltage monitoring system is provided to decrease casualties by generating an alarm sound based on a power stoppage condition of a circuit breaker in a distribution box. An AC voltage monitoring system includes a power stoppage sensor(500), a PSTN(400), a telephone receiver(300), and a computer system(200). The power stoppage sensor is connected to a power distribution box and monitors substation stoppage and load stoppage states. The PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) transmits signals from the stoppage sensor to various reception stations. The telephone receiver receives the signals from the PSTN. The computer system is connected to the telephone receiver and monitors the signals from the PSTN.
