A safety diagnosis apparatus for an expansion joint on a bridge is provided to diagnose a safety of the expansion joint on the bridge with a naked eye and easily install an existing expansion joint on the bridge as well. A safety diagnosis apparatus for an expansion joint on bridge includes a first member(10), a second member(20), a first sensor(31), a second sensor(32), and an abnormality control part(30). The first member is fixed onto the expansion joint of the one edge of an upper plate. And a transparent acrylic marked a first graduation(12) is formed in the center of the first member. The second member has a second graduation(21) in order to check an interval between the expansion joints. The first sensor detects the approaching of the second member to the first member above a safety interval by deformation. The second sensor detects the receding of the seconding member from the first member above the safety interval by the deformation. The abnormality control part includes a control part(33) and a transmitting part(34).
