A floor plate structure of a beehive having air vent holes near the comb foundation is provided to reduce the swarming desire of bees, and to give an extra rest place, thereby improving productivity of bees. A floor plate(10) structure of a beehive includes inclined portions(12) that gets higher towards the inside of the beehive, air vent holes(13) formed in the inclined portion, and a rest place(14) formed in a hollowed area between the inclined portions being spread out. Also, a side slope(16) is formed downwardly from the top of the inclined portion, and a second air vent hole(17) is formed in the side slope. The rest place is created by the side slope and a rest place forming face(15) having a third air vent hole(15a) formed therein. On the opposite side of an entrance, a sharp slope(15b) is formed. |
