An alignment layer coating device for an LCD is provided to control spray pressure of an alignment material by a pumping operation of a storage tank and to control the amount of alignment material being sprayed by a plurality of unsuccessive supply holes of a nozzle. A storage tank stores an alignment material(115). A nozzle(123) includes a plurality of supply holes connected to the storage tank, and applies an alignment material onto a substrate. An alignment layer coating device has a bar shape, and has a length along one edge of the substrate. The nozzle has a length along one edge of the substrate. The supply hole has a diameter having 300 mum or less. The plurality of supply holes are arranged in a row or multiple rows along a longitudinal direction of the alignment layer coating device. |
