An on-line lecturing method using virtual members is provided to service virtual lecturing effect as if a lecture is processed by attending the virtual students to the lecture. A network education system includes an education information database(120) and an on-line lecture processing module(110). The education information database stores exercises and solutions related to on-line lecture, and education information including response messages from a teacher attended in the on-line lecture. The on-line lecture processing module generates a first virtual member based on education information of a first member attended in the on-line lecture and attends the first virtual member in the on-line lecture attended a second member.
