<p>Disclosed are an air bag quickly inflating in the vertical direction and sufficiently inflating in the lateral direction, and an air bag device having the air bag. An inner bag (22) is provided in the air bag (10). The left and right ends of the air bag (10) are connected to the inner bag (22) by tear seams (60). When the air bag (10) is inflated, the lateral inflation of both left and right ends of the air bag (10) to the outer sides is restrained until the internal pressure in the air bag (10) reaches a predetermined value. When the internal pressure in the air bag (10) exceeds the predetermined value, the tear seams (60) are broken, the connection of the left and right ends of the air bag (10) to the inner bag (22) is released, and thereby, both left and right ends of the air bag (10) can be laterally inflated to the outer sides.</p> |
