METHOD OF TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING CONTROL INFORMATION IN WIRELESS NETWORK

A control information transceiving method in a wireless network is provided to enable a terminal and a wireless network node to notify each other of information on packet transmission and reception states of the terminal and the node, so as to minimize transmission and reception of duplicated packets as minimizing congestion within a network. In case of downlink traffic transmission, a source node B transmits an HO(Hand Over) command message to a UE(User Equipment) after determining HO(S801). The source node B transmits packet blocks according to packet block transmission state information(S802). The UE attempts connection with a target node B by disconnecting from the source node B, and sets connection to the first and second layers(S803). The UE transmits an HO complete message to the target node B(S804). The target node B starts transmitting a packet block whose transmission is demanded by the UE to the UE(S805).
