A method for dyeing a denim is provided to make it possible to dye a high-density denim in large quantities regardless of tensile strength of the denim, due to dyeing the denim using a general dyeing apparatus. A denim is fixed at a temperature of 20°C for 20 minutes by using fixer of 2g/L. A dyeing solution is prepared by inputting NaOH of 50g/L, dye of 20-30g/L, Na2S2O4 of 50g/L, dispersing agent of 1g/L, and leveling agent of 1g/L. The denim is dyed with the dyeing solution at a temperature of 40-60°C for 40 minutes. The dyed denim is oxidized, and washed by cooling water. The washed denim is oxidized at a temperature of 45°C for 20 minutes by oxidant of 10g/L and penetrating agent of 1g/L. The denim oxidized by oxidant is acid-treated at a temperature of 45°C for 20 minutes by glacial acetic acid of 3g/L. The acid-treated denim is treated at a temperature of 45°C for 20 minutes by hydrogen peroxide of 3g/L and hydrogen peroxide stabilizer of 1g/L. The denim treated by the hydrogen peroxide is soaped at a temperature of 90°C for 10 minutes. The soaped denim is fixed by treating the soaped denim at a temperature of 30°C for 5 minutes by 6% of fixer and treating the denim at a temperature of 60°C for 15 minutes. The fixed denim is softened at a temperature of 50°C for 30 minutes by softener of 4g/L. |
