<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver capable of promptly shifting to the channel of a program reserved to be viewed or canceling the viewing reservation upon the notification of the reservation for the program. <P>SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver 1 comprises: a reservation information storage means 17 for storing the viewing reservation received in a viewing reservation means 16 as reservation information including at least the information of the channel and the time; a reservation information display means 15 for displaying a part or all of the reservation information prescribed time before the time (start time) indicated by the reservation information stored there; a shifting operation reception means 19 for receiving a shifting operation for shifting to the channel indicated by the reservation information to the reservation information displayed there by a prescribed operation regardless of the number of the channel; and a shifting instruction means 18 for instructing a CH selection means 12 to switch to the channel indicated by the reservation information at the point of time of receiving the prescribed operation or at the start time indicated by the reservation information when receiving the prescribed operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
