<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification support device capable of performing personal identification, when confirming an individual with use of an identifier card with a face photo, without handing a confirmed person's card to a confirmer. <P>SOLUTION: The identification support device includes a casing 5 formed like a box with a triangle side face, a first display device 6 installed inside the casing 5 that is visually recognized by a guard, and a second display device 8 and a card table 9, both of which are installed outside the casing 5. The second display device 8 integrally has a light receiving sensor 8a and a liquid crystal display screen 8b, and is capable of not only inputting but also displaying an image. A CPU enables the liquid crystal display screen 8b of the second display device 8 to display a message screen, and also allows a card 1 to perform an optical detection operation. When the card 1 is set, an image on a front side of the card 1 is captured by the light receiving sensor 8a of the second display device 8, and the image including a face photo is displayed on the first display device 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
