PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-generating braking device capable of maintaining a posture of a slider, and shortening a braking distance during operation of a braking. SOLUTION: This power-generating braking device has a load inputted with a motor current by regenerative power generated after exciting current shut-down to a motor, and includes a DC power supply for supplying a constant current to an exciting coil of the motor.
