PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an explosion-proof type gas detector having high vibration resistance and capable of certainly preventing the occurrence of a trouble such as continuity failure or the like in the connection part of a gas sensor. SOLUTION: The explosion-proof type gas detector is constituted by arranging a substrate, on which a connector member for mounting the gas sensor is supported, in an explosion-proof type container and mounting the gas sensor on the connector member in a freely detachable manner. The substrate has a main body part and the connector substrate part separated from the main body part to support the connector member, and the connector substrate part is held and electrically connected by a flexible cable as it remains gapped from the main body part.
