FIELD: construction tools, particularly tools to level horizontal or vertical surfaces during construction (surface plastering, floor leveling and so on). ^ SUBSTANCE: surface leveling tool comprises laser levelness and/or verticality indicator, which creates visual light beam to indicate levelness and/or verticality degree, to detect horizontal and vertical deviation of surface to be treated. Tool also has four spaced apart support to be installed on surface to be treated and clips arranged in each support so that they may move along support height and retained relatively it. Each clip has vertical and outer horizontal sections. Vertical section is provided with measuring graticule. Tool also comprises two guiding strips. Each strip is supported by horizontal parts of two corresponding adjacent clips. Movable strip bears upon guiding strips so that it may move along the strips. Rule is secured to movable strip between supports so that the rule is directed along movable strip. Working longitudinal rule end surface faces surface to be treated. Laser indicator may project light beam through corresponding intervals of measuring graticules formed in two adjacent clips along necessary levelness and/or verticality. ^ EFFECT: increased operational convenience, decreased labor inputs due to simplified tool structure and elimination of plaster ground arrangement, as well as extended functional capabilities. ^ 6 dwg |
