FINISH STRENGTHENING METHOD BY MEANS OF SPRING TOOL

FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, namely methods for finishing-strengthening stepped shafts, eccentric shafts or screws with small height of profile. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of imparting rotation to blank and imparting reciprocation motion to tool along axis of rotating blank; using tool having holder with bearing assemblies where plug with deforming member in the form of steel spring with round cross section turns is mounted. Ends of said spring are rigidly secured to plug. Elastic rings are fixed to plug in direction of spring turns for placing spring turns. On inner surface of spring turns lengthwise track is formed; profile of said track is similar to that of outer surface of elastic rings.
