FIELD: metallurgy, namely metal continuous casting and further deforming of it to shaped blank. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes built-up mold with opening in upper part, paired lateral and horizontal working walls. Each lateral working wall of mold has portions inclined relative to horizontal axis and it is mounted in two drive eccentric parallel vertical shafts. Each horizontal working wall is mounted in one of said shafts with possibility of reciprocation motion with phase shift towards pair of lateral working walls. Working surfaces of upper and lower walls of mold in zone of metal squeezing are inclined in order to enlarge said zone along height to side of metal outlet. Inclination angle of horizontal working walls of mold is equal to 4 - 5°. ^ EFFECT: improved operational reliability of mold. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
