BOTH SIDES RECORDING MEDIUM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE OF BOTH SIDES RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording/thermal recording hybrid both sides recording medium wherein oozing is not generated on an ink jet recording surface and blushing and bronzing are not generated on a thermal recording surface.

SOLUTION: The both sides recording medium is provided by giving an ink jet recording aptitude to a side surface of a paper substrate having a pulp as a main component to provide a thermal recording layer on an opposite surface. Both sides recording medium is featured by containing xerogel series porous pigment to drop 0.5 ml of polyethylene glycol 10% aqueous solution with a microsyringe onto a surface having ink jet recording aptitude and having a time of 30 s or over until permeating to the thermal recording layer surface.
