PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic sensor device provided with little restriction on the material selection to the part to be detected and needing no additional working to the detection part, and an ultrasonic sensor which can be preferably utilized in the ultrasonic sensor device. SOLUTION: The sensor device includes the ultrasonic sensor fixed on the stationary side of orbital member and detects the ultrasonic sound echo from the detection part. The ultrasonic sensor 2 comprises: a cylindrical cabinet 51; a front panel 52 closing the one opening of the cabinet 51; and an oscillator 53 provided so as to be in contact with the front panel 52.
