PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission having a variable hysteresis mechanism which can attenuate fluctuations of torque transmitted from an input shaft to an output shaft even when changing hysteresis of different magnitudes. SOLUTION: The power transmission for a vehicle includes: the input shaft (a portion connected to a flywheel 21 of a crankshaft 20) of an internal combustion engine mounted on the vehicle; the output shaft (a portion connected to a hub 1 of a drive shaft 22 of a planetary gear mechanism) to which the torque of the input shaft is transmitted; and the variable hysteresis mechanism 11 that produces the hysteresis different in magnitude in the torque transmitted from the input shaft to the output shaft according to a relative torsion angle between the input shaft and the output shaft. The power transmission for the vehicle continuously varies the hysteresis from the hysteresis before change to the hysteresis after change when changing the hysteresis of different magnitudes.
