PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus casing which prevents a nonexpert from operating the inside of the apparatus by containing a protection mechanism requiring a special tool to open the cover of an apparatus. SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus casing comprises a synthetic resin made casing body 11 and cover 12, and contains in the front end of its left side a specific screw mounting part 30 made up of a body side screw forming part 31 and a cover side screw forming part 32, for instance. The body side screw forming part 31 includes a through hole 33 and a screw formed hole 34 in the cylindrically formed center part. The cover side screw forming part 32 includes a screw formed hole 35 in the cylindrically formed center part. The screw formed holes 34, 35 take three portions equally divided into three arcs larger than the nominal diameter of the special screw as straight sides and keep a triangular shape surrounded by the sides smaller than the nominal diameter of the special screw. When the special screws are screwed in the screw formed holes 34, 35, therefore, a female screw is formed in a side part of a triangle. The casing body 11 is thereby fastened to the cover 12.
