摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compressor capable of preventing excessive compression from occurring in a suction/compression chamber without increasing contact noise by the opening/closing operation of a discharge valve mechanism formed in a discharge hole. SOLUTION: This gas compressor 10 comprises a compressor body 12 having the suction/compression chamber 25 in which a compression stroke is performed. The compressor body 12 comprises a discharge passage 50 through which the compressive gas produced in the suction/discharge chamber 25 is discharged and the discharge valve mechanism 60. The discharge passage 50 comprises a main discharge passage part 51 and an auxiliary discharge passage 52. The discharge valve mechanism 60 comprises a main discharge valve element 63 for closing and opening the auxiliary discharge passage part 52 and an auxiliary discharge valve element 64 for closing and opening the auxiliary discharge passage part 52. The main discharge valve element 63 opens the main discharge passage part 51 for each compression stroke by pressure in the suction/compression chamber 25. The auxiliary discharge valve element 64 opens the auxiliary discharge passage part 52 by pressure in the suction/compression chamber 25 in each compression stroke when the pressure in the suction/compression chamber 25 is higher than a predetermined pressure.
