PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin molded body having a metal toned surface with interference colors which exhibits coloring properties rich in variation and can be obtained by an easier method compared with the conventional production method, and has low genetic rate of defectives caused by the occurrence of color unevenness. SOLUTION: The resin molded body having the metal toned surface with interference colors is obtained by forming a transparent metallic thin film with a thickness of 0.1 to 0.4μm on the smooth surface whose center line average roughness (Ra) is≤1μm of a resin molded body base material.
