PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertically movable clothes drying apparatus capable of improving its manufacturing efficiency by making components common regardless of the number of laundry poles. SOLUTION: A double pulley 20 and a first pulley 22 are provided inside one end of a main body frame 12 of the vertically movable clothes drying apparatus 10, and a second pulley 24 and a winding drum 26 are provided inside the other end. One end part 30A of a first hanging cord 30 put around the double pulley 20 and the second pulley 24 is connected with a cord connector 32, and the other end part 30B is connected with a pole receiver 34. One end part 38A of a second hanging cord 38 put around the double pulley 20 and the first pulley 22 is connected with the cord connector 32, and the other end part 38B is connected with the pole receiver 34. One end part 42A of a winding cord 42 arranged between the cord connector 32 and the winding drum 26 is connected with the cord connector 32, and the other end part 42B is connected with the winding drum 26.
