A radioactive waste treating composition and a method for treating a radioactive waste using the same are provided to dispose of the radioactive waste in the sea permanently by preventing a container of the radioactive waste from being eroded by sea water. A radioactive waste is contained in a container(10). The radioactive waste is mixed with a curing CaCo3 containing composition(21) in a first process chamber, so that the radioactive waste is cured. The CaCO3 containing composition(22) is coated outside the container. The CaCO3 containing composition(23) is coated again outside the container, so that the container is completely shielded from erosion. The radioactive waste is disposed of in the container in the sea. |
