PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of setting a number of input states to one input signal by detecting a plurality of the input states with one input signal for reducing a circuit scale and reducing a change in capacitance to a change in a contact area. SOLUTION: The input device comprises: a first electrode 2 formed at the lower side of a second dielectric layer 4B; and not less than two second electrodes 3A, 3B that are formed opposite to the first electrode 2 between a first dielectric layer 4A and the second dielectric layer 4B, is not connected to the first electrode electrically, and are arranged to one first electrode 2. At least one of the capacitance between the first electrode 2 and the second electrodes 3A, 3B, and the capacitance between a surface with which a contact object 10 comes into contact and the second electrodes 3A, 3B differs.
