PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sustain player' freshness and interest in a game for hours by outputting sound when a reel corresponding to an operated stop switch is stopped. SOLUTION: A slot machine has an operating means for transmitting a stop switch operation signal corresponding to the stop switch to a reel control means when the stop switch is operated, the reel control means for transmitting a reel stop signal to a performance control means when a reel corresponding to the received stop switch signal is stopped, and the performance control means for outputting specified sound using a sound output means when it receives the reel stop signal so as to notify the player of a period of time from the operation of the stop switch till stopping of the reel corresponding to the stop switch.
